“Aliens to Zombies” and “ZomBcon”

Last weekend I was a guest at Aliens to Zombies in Los Angeles, and ZomBcon in Seattle.  Both were fun, distinctive, and expertly run conventions!  Here are some photos I took, starting with Aliens to Zombies:

There were definitely aliens at Aliens to Zombies!
The view from my seat on the zombie panel. (Joe McKinney raises his hand to indicate that, yes, zombies are awesome!)

Now to ZomBcon…

Mark yer calendars. . .

I’ve just committed to appear at ZomBCon 2011 in Seattle, this coming October 21-23.

Last year’s ZomBcon was really wonderful– exciting, fun, galvanizing. . . and very, very well-run.  And I expect 2011 to be even better!  It sounds like they’ve got a new, larger venue, and a bunch of new guests for 2011 including Tom Savini, Sid Haig, Judith O’Dea, Jovanka Vuckovic, and tons more

ZomBcon 2010

I just got home from ZomBcon 2010 in Seattle where I gave a talk about zombies, served on a panel, and signed some books.  ZomBcon was a really wonderful, well-run event.  It was a delight to meet my fellow members of the Zombie Research Society Advisory Board, and all the other zombie luminaries present.

Here are some pictures:

With Steven Schlozman and George Romero
Me with Matt Mogk, founder of the ZRS
Some scoundrels!
We were totally in Seattle!
With S.G. Browne, author of Breathers
I shot an air-gun at zombie Hitler. It was awesome.
Bruce Campbell gave a rousing talk
George Romero talks zombies on a ZRS panel.
The best sign I saw in Seattle.
