Could the greatest music video of the year somehow not feature zombies? I don’t know if it could. (Have I framed this question correctly? My point is that zombies always make music videos better. Adding a zombie to a music video is like adding garlic to a recipe or Christopher Walken to a film. It can only improve things.)
There have been some good music videos with zombies in 2008, but for my money, “Gorbachev” by Russian heavy metal band ANJ takes the cake hands down. Their unique and innovative fusion of zombies with uniformed communist party members lends just the right touch to this surreal and awesome video. Check it out:
