Back in March, I wrote about a group of zombie walkers in Minneapolis who were suing for wrongful arrest after they were taken into custody for acting like zombies. Yesterday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that the zombies have been awarded $165,000!
Whilst cops should obviously arrest criminals and those who hurt others, cops have no business arresting people for pretending to be zombies. It may be confusing or startling for passersby to see zombies, but a zombie walk is certainly not a crime.
