Just finished the book. It was an awesome ride, but after looking at the description on Goodreads, you might consider deleting that first paragraph, where it says the red haired girl might hold the key to unraveling the mystery. “little kid solves mystery” sounds a little too young adult, and doesn’t hint at the atmosphere you create.

Second, I’m writing a paper about your book and the adaption of the subject matter of Shivadasa’s “The Five-and-Twenty Tales of the Genie” you mentioned in the author’s note at the end of the book.
