I’m sure you’ve seen these or similar, but I came across them and wanted to share…
Loved your book about the Zen of Zombies, it was well written and very thought provocating. I see you review films about the undead, soI’d like to offer you the chance to glance at my ebook “Uprising” a zombie/social commentary. You can visit my website (www.swordforhire.net), the publisher (www.darkroastpress.com), or even watch the video trailer on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/swordforhire60). Let me know what you think!
Just added ‘The Zen of Zombie’ to my Undead Christmas Wish List.
Love your blog, and Zen!

Hi – we’ve recently created a zombie website http://www.zombiesdefined.com – it’s still early days and a lot of sections are still under construction, but we’d really appreciate it if you could check it out an let us know what you think. Also would it be possible for you to link our site ? We would of course return the favour and link your own blog.
Hope to hear from you,
You might enjoy my zombie movie that premieres in less than two weeks.
If you could help us promote this:
we would be happy to help you promote your upcoming book. Maybe a feature on the blog? Get the word out to zombie enthusiasts?
You might be interested in some music by the Fossil Aerosol Mining Project. Two largely undiscovered CDs are composed of artifacts and relics from zombie films of the 1980s: “If You Enjoyed the Dawn of the Dead” (2006), and the more recent “The First 15 Minutes of the Second Sequel” (2010). Free samples are at Afterdaysmedia.com and they can be downloaded from iTunes, Amazon, etc.
Scott–I wanted to say thank you for the review of Crusade. To be compared to Beowulf, well, that is pretty heady stuff! And then when I looked at who wrote the review, and I said, wait a second, I have a book by that guy…and sure enough I did, Zen of Zombie (which I thoroughly enjoyed!). And now I look forward to reading your other undead satires and the release of Zombie, Ohio in ’11. I’ve asked the wife for your other books for X-Mas as I am busy now writing (Eden 3–Resurrection), reading (things I think might be good for me to read as I write Eden 3), and working my day job to be able to enjoy them at the present moment. Thanks man!!
Just wanted to submit a link. You might be interested to hear a zombie radio-play:
Scott – THANK YOU for Zombie, OH! I recently flew to Cleveland (yes, on purpose). On the day I was supposed to come home, there was a major snowstorm between there and here. My flight was delayed an hour… then 2… then 5! Wanting some distraction from the oh-so-very-annoyed people-watching I had been doing, I wandered into the bookstore and right away saw Zombie, OH. No question – this is what I needed to see me thru my layover. …Okay, the book and a Guinness in the airport bar. I was so engrossed (boo!) that I just about missed the announcement that my formerly delayed flight was boarding in 10 minutes. Thank you for making my lasting impression of oHIo a favorable one. You’re a life saver (?!) !
The Blissters should play in Minneapolis/St. Paul!
XOXOO but not my brain –
I read the Zen of Zombie Im not a avid book reader I usually pick up a book and skim through and put it down. This book was brilliantly funny I couldn’t put it down I blasted through it in 9 hrs and was in gut busting laugh mode most of the time thank you for sharing your life enlighting ideas with zombie zen. Because zombies just don’t give a shit.
As a graduate of Kenyon College (class of 1980), I was struck by your description of the ascent at the main entrance to Kenton College. I new it had to be Kenyon and that Gant, Ohio had to be Gambier. I am currently reading your novel Zombie, Ohio and I love it.
Although I am 53, I and a half dozen friends went to Columbus to see the opening of “Dawn of the Dead”. I became a zombie fan right then, but it was to be 25 years before the genre became popular in novel form. So I am kind of reliving part of my youth.
This novel, so far, is one of the best written of the genre. Thanks.
Please review my zombie hunter mockumentary. Thanks.
I’ll be filming “Contagion 2: When Zombie Hunters Bite Back” in eight days.
(I’ll send reimbursement of the VOD. Thanks.)
Great chapter in Triumph of the Walking Dead. Thanks!
Scott, you have some awesome stuff on your blog! Here is a link to a zombie music video that you will probably really enjoy and hopefully blog about!

What a great zombie blog!
I’ve been blogging about zombies lately and the smash hit web series, ‘Bite Me’. It’s a story about three hardcore gamers that use their video games skills to survive during a zombie outbreak.
I just interviewed one of the stars of the show. And I’m running a four-part series on my blog. I’m going to profile each of the principal cast members leading up to the March 6th air date of the second season.
I’m calling it – “The Bite Me Interviews” and you can read part one, with actor Justin Giddings.
To read the interview or watch a promo for Bite Me, go to: http://www.mentalswag.com
Feel free to excerpt my post, but please link back to: http://www.mentalswag.com
And watch out for the zombies.
Blog, Blogging, Blogger….
Shooting range near me is advertising zombie targets. Thought of you.
Greetings Mr. Kenemore,
With all the noise in the news about the pending zombie apocalypse, we thought you might like to hear that someone’s taken action to document the phenomenon.
Mad Genius is an anonymous pop group who uses on news samples and social media to construct their songs. They have a series they’re working on charting the year 2012 in news and trends. Noticing the zombie hoard beginning to spread, they created the track “How To Build A Zombie Apocalypse” in response. We thought you might enjoy a listen…
Thanks again for your blog and (potential) listen…
I would love to share my Zombie engagement shoot!

Scott: I work at Barnes & Noble. Monthly, we choose a book to promote to our customers. For next month (October) I submitted Zombie, Illinois…and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be approved. So, if you suddenly start seeing a lot of your books being sold at the B&N in Bolingbrook, you’ll know who to thank. 🙂
Well done on an awesome site and equally awesome books!
Hi Scott – some collaborators and I just created some awesome pop up zombies I think your readers would enjoy. Here’s a link for you to check out 🙂

Oops. This is the video trailer: http://youtu.be/WoeAYMHJhIY
Sorry about that. I should be more careful when copy/pasting.
I hope it would be alright to plug a zombie novelette here?!
The Rage Plague
“In the winter of 2017 visions were seen by Navajo medicine men that what seemed to be the dead would walk for a time, taking peace from the earth. A warning was given to band with other tribes and prepare; the great enemy was coming and would try to hunt down all the peoples of the earth. In the year 2019 the Rage Plague hit and every human on earth was exposed to the virus. Most people got sick as the virus attacked certain lobes of the brain making some people volatile and animal like and others, psychotic blood thirsty lunatics that were hard to kill and cannibalized their victims.”
Thought I’d stop by and share this campy zombie video with you tonight.
Hi, Just finished Zombie, Ohio. Great book, coldn’t put it down. I have a question about Buddy Duke. I tried googling him and found nothing. Is he based on any true story? Thanks!
Hi Scott Kenemore,
Just stumbled across your Ohio and Illinois books. Had to pace myself as I didn’t want to devour them too quickly (not in a Zombie “brraaains” way, but a fan boy, “that’s cool” way). Can’t wait for Indiana.
Would be interesting to see one of your future books set in New York or LA. Love to see the fun you could have with the hipsters, traders, and starlets.
One quick question: What happened to Franco at the end of Illinois?
Keep up the good work, and keep the books coming – they’re like cat nip for Zombie fans. That would be cat nip covered in brains… Brraaains…
I love your work! You are helping to shape zombie culture! I also do zombie related work and would appreciate it if you would check it out! I’m running a Kickstarter campaign right now and the video is hilarious. Please take a look! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/881615499/zeds-zombie-ranch-steel-signs
