While the Hollywood Walk of Fame is not the final arbiter of anobody’s place in the canon, Romero certainly deserves a place if he so desires one. He is to the zombie what Bram Stoker was to the vampire. He has influenced generations of directors, artists, and writers, and he’s still going strong and making films today. If you’d like to see him get a star– as I certainly would– I encourage you to make a donation!
