In Costa Rica I saw a tarantula being dragged around by a wasp. The park guide said the wasp had paralyzed the tarantula and was about to lay its eggs in it. Soon the tarantula would wake up and return to its lair, and a few weeks later would be devoured from the inside by the emerging wasp larvae. No mention of zombie mental takeovers, though.
