A retraction

In a post a few weeks ago, I said that “Gorbachev” by Russian heavy metal band ANJ would be the best zombie-themed music video of 2008. 

I was wrong.

Coming in just under the wire is one of the most tremendous and uncanny music videos I’ve ever seen:  “All Nightmare Long” by Metallica.  (Interestingly, like the ANJ video, “All Nightmare Long” involves Russia and zombies.  Perhaps this will be the start of a new Russian-Zombie genre.)

Anyhow, here is the video:

I saw this clip on my favorite zombie blog, Send More Cops.  I try to make a point never to duplicate their content, but this video is so cool that I’m going to make an exception just this once. 

PS- Did you know the Tuskunga Event was a real thing?  Seriously.
